Ella Webb's beautiful drawings inspired by the natural world
Ella Webb is a drawing machine. We mean this in the nicest and most complimentary way. When she draws, her lines are so crisp, so clean that we need to pinch and zoom to check if they were rendered by a human or a computer. A UK-based creative, Ella is a graduate of the Camberwell College of Arts, focusing on graphic design and illustration.
Ella’s work is super neat, and super skilled; bold yet refined. She combines traditional mediums like pencil and fine liner, with digital colouring and printing methods. For us, her work is...
We Love Rittle by Ellie King
Ellie King, aka Rittle, is a Melbourne based artist, specialising in textiles, ceramics and design. We’ve been crushing on her work for a couple of years now, catching her iconic Rittle face on many a hand made object. From her studio, she’s pumped out hand screen printed tee’s, cheeky cushions, scented candles in the porcelain ceramics, and even sold the old second hand collectable. Her penchant for embroidery and textile-based works developed while running a cafe in Melbourne CBD a few years ago, using the hand-made processes to clock-off and relax.
Ellie draws inspiration from...
Dive into Alexis Jamet's serene paintings
Alexis Jamet is a French creative whose work we stumbled across the other day in one of those hazy Instagram scroll holes. Paintings about love and life by Shanti Shea An
Looking at Shanti Shea An’s paintings is kind of like touching a fuzzy piece of stone fruit. It makes us feel warm in the chest, and a little bit tingly inside. Her candid subject matter, loose brush strokes and divine pastel paint palettes simultaneously remind us of paintings from another time and a quiet moment we had yesterday, or the day before that. Her works feel familiar in a wholesome, homely way. Like we’ve been or seen the scenes she paints before. The effect of her paintings are soothing, calming; and for these reasons we can’t stop...
Trek Matthews X Odd Pears
Coming off the back of our Cat Rabbit collaboration, we knew we had to do something special. We decided to call in the big guns; enter stage left, Trek Matthews. Painter, designer and all around kick-ass creative, Trek has kindly blessed us all with a tiny taste of his genius, in Pear form. If you haven’t been lucky enough to know of his work in the past, brace yourselves for a very quick and whirlwind romance before you skip right on down the road to love. Seeing a Trek Matthews piece for the first time is an experience in itself....
