We’re so excited to share our final collaborator for 2017 — welcoming London-based illustrator Dominic Kesterton to the Odd Pears family!

Gazing at Dominic’s drawings feels a bit like dipping out of reality for a second and taking a little mind holiday. Carving a strong niche for himself over the last few years, his work has become instantly recognisable, with an iconic combination of monochromes, heavy colour-blocking and lush line-work. Mysterious man-holes, alluring shapes, blobby men with chunky appendages and plants galore flow from Dominic’s pen, both analogue and digital, in a style that balances...

Fredrik Andersson is a Swedish illustrator, busting taboos around intimacy and sexy-times one sweet little butt-cheek at a time with his exciting and lively work. Currently based in London, Fredrik  graduated from the Camberwell College of Arts in 2016. He uses a range of mediums, from watercolour, paint pens and inks to linocut, screen printing and ceramic techniques. Fredrik’s digital work is woven in amongst this, creating punchy vectored pieces in joyous colour palettes for commercial work and play.

He has an obsession with drawing naked people, and an extra special penchant for drawing hairy men....

Looking at KangHee Kim’s photographs is like being transported into an alternate reality. Intriguing and curious, we’re unable to look away from her surreal images, which fuse every day scenes together to create something new and, if we’re honest, a bit magical. KangHee’s current practice came about via a frustration from being unable to leave the US due to her visa restrictions. Feeling confined, she found relief in her art and by creating her own version of the New York City; one where mundane scenes of buildings and city life exist alongside beautiful and natural scenery.

We’re very excited to introduce our newest addition to the Odd Pears family. Please give a warm and very cosy welcome to Gert Geyer — artist, illustrator, mural-painter, letter-writer and now sock designer. She’s a lady who likes to lurch between extremes. Words and pictures, corporeal and abstract, digital and in-real-life. Gert gets her kicks from exploring form and colour by way of fluid lines, invigorating palettes and dynamic compositions. She’s comfiest in her home studio and inspired by all of the colours, shapes and textures that surround her in her daily life, and the socks she’s designed...
